What types of activities are recommended for beginners in the Numocore system?

For those who are starting out, we recommend picking one change to make out of the many that are available. For example, for Nutrition, it can be cutting down the amount of processed foods in half as a start. Alternatively, it could be increasing the amount of fruit and vegetables you eat.

For some people, making changes to food may be difficult. In that case, it may be advisable to start with one of the other engines: Movement, Connection, or Rest.

A simple Movement activation involves moving all of your joints through their full range of motion twice a day (after waking up and before going to sleep). Another might be starting an exercise regimen. If that's not your cup of tea, begin with the movement of your emotions through a journaling practice.

We've had people who are tired of doing things physically and making diet changes, so they started with a mindfulness practice. They found it to be big relief because they could do it at any time without having to change their schedule. For others, it's the opposite. They already have a mindfulness practice they feel good with, but are looking for others opportunities to activate healing. Changing what they're eating or moving their bodies more might just be the ticket.

Not everything will appeal to everyone, but usually there is one thing or another among the entire menu of Numocore activities across the Four Engines that will appeal to someone. It could be a physical activity, a mental activity, or even simply resting more!

Guided Numocore practices are offered in our Jumpstart course, which is a great opportunity to see what works for you and create a custom program for yourself. Have a look here and begin your journey.
